To Do's...

So, ever since summer started I have been completely occupied by preparing the school's applications by sequencing them and in my spare time resolving and problems or issues that arise. While I have a lot of respect for the teams out in the schools who are working very hard, I know that I have also been very busy and there isn't much free time. As soon as I finish sequencing one set of schools' applications, the teams have moved on and there are more apps to sequence.

Today proves that the aforementioned work is not appreciated...much....if at all.

This morning my manager (who will remain un-named) walked into my office and pulled up a chair. As always she pulled the chair up way too close so I blatantly shoved back with my feet to roll my chair to a comfortable distance (actually, 10 feet would be comfortable but I had to settle for 5). This un-named manager proceeded to list off all of the things that I am supposed to accomplish prior to my timely departure. This list includes but is not limited to:
  • Documenting everything I know about SoftGrid
  • Documenting everything I know about the image
  • Documenting everything I know about the imaging process
  • Documenting everything I know about WSUS
  • Documenting everything I know about BartPE
  • Documenting everything I know about the Ghostcast disk
  • Documenting everything I know about the Ticketing tool excel dashboard
  • Documenting everything I know about the printer deployment
  • Documenting everything I know about Active Directory

Again, this probably isn't a complete list as more ideas will be had at random times for inexplicable reasons. Kinda like spontaneous combustion.

All of this is supposed to be accomplished while I continue to sequence applications and close admin tickets.
